Several years ago I wrote a small Perl script to convert .TAP files to
plaintext Spectrum program listings. It is on my website at:

http://www.cgce.net/tap2text1.0c.pl.txt

Note that the file needs to be saved as Unicode UTF-8 text: you should
find it saves correctly by right-clicking on the link on my home page
http://www.cgce.net/ and saving the link.

It outputs the name of each program followed by the listing. There are
various options for how block graphics, non-standard printable
characters and colour control codes are printed. The script is GPL-
licenced.

Thanks for that. I've been using snaplist.exe for years, which works on
SNA files only. It's good to see a useful programme which does the same
with TAP files. Great that it's GPL-ed too. Nice one!
