Several years ago I wrote a small Perl script to convert .TAP files to plaintext Spectrum program listings. It is on my website at: http://www.cgce.net/tap2text1.0c.pl.txt Note that the file needs to be saved as Unicode UTF-8 text: you should find it saves correctly by right-clicking on the link on my home page http://www.cgce.net/ and saving the link. It outputs the name of each program followed by the listing. There are various options for how block graphics, non-standard printable characters and colour control codes are printed. The script is GPL- licenced. Alex

It's good to see a useful programme which does the same with TAP files. Great that it's GPL-ed too. Nice one!
