What's happened to cl4.org? It was my go-to place for everything Harry S
Price.

There's a "mirror" (in quotes as it might not be legitimately mirrored) on
Stu_art Camp_bell's site but it's horribly broken.

(name purposefully borked in case it summons him, w_tom style)

For what it's worth, there's a fully authorised mirror at the
semi-official-sort-of Sinclair FAQ wiki:
http://www.zxshed.co.uk/sinclairfaq/index.php5?title=Harry_S_Price

(I've got the screenshots too, but I haven't got round to putting them
up yet, because I'm crap like that)

You can't rely on this shoddy overpriced off-the-shelf Stuart
protection. If Barnum were alive today, he would be selling Stuart
protection too.

Excellent, thanks.

Surge protection is a very serious and real matter. If you don't have a
surge protector, however cheap and nasty, you have no protection at all.

Screenshots now added. Which means I'm marginally less crap than I was
previously. Huzzah!

I got rid of my Web sites in about June because I was annoyed with the
increasing shittiness of the Web and the fact that nobody seems to read
pages that aren't on a "walled-garden" social network. And somehow I
haven't had time or inclination to put any of it back.

If anyone wants the other Speccy stuff like the "references in popular
music" page, let me know and I can send a copy.

Yeah, that's been there for years and is out of date; it doesn't include
all the games. I wrote to SC at the time saying that it might have been
nice to ask first, since the site was obviously still being maintained,
and got a lot of angry polemic in reply.

Eq.

That's a shame. FWIW, I don't read pages that *are* on a walled-garden
"social" network.

He is an arse.

I miss your pages and not just the Spectrum stuff which was
comprehensive.

The pages have been captured 49 times by the "Wayback Machine" and can
be seen here

http://web.archive.org/web/20081220050544/http://equ.in/ox/

I don't know if the images eventually come through. Those for my web
pages do.

For some reason I had never done the BASIC Quiz and enjoyed testing my
knowledge..
It is probably just as well that it no longer gets marked :-)

Geoff.
