So I got a mention on this: http://1morecastle.com/2014/02/75-beachy-sand-haired-hippy-boy/ A few weeks ago they mentioned about how there weren't really patches for 80s/90s videogames, and it was said they sometimes had them for PC games. I wrote in to explain about how there were for 8-bit computers and went on about POKEs and stuff. Anyway, they used it as a discussion topic this week. Zee Ex Spectrum (and Vee Ex? What?) ensued. There are plenty of people on *this* side of the Atlantic who don't appreciate that the NES just wasn't a that big of a deal for us. And they really seem to get it: the coders' imaginations overcoming the limitations of the hardware, and all that. Nice little discussion. -- Duncan Snowden.

Yeah, I didn't really expect them to pick up my email, let alone make it the main discussion point of the episode!
