Hi all

Clearing out the loft, got a load of tapes here, wonder if anyone would
be interested in them, or if they are destined for the pit.

Been out of touch of the speccy scene for a while don't know if there's
any better places to post this?

Mostly Your Sinclair cover tapes and other speccy games, +3 discs

Also have a boxed, looks as new spectrum rubber 48K (don't have a pic
of that yet)

Also have Your Sinclair/Your Spectrum from '86 upto IIRC '91/'92 . I
think most of the posters have been taken out, but each year is bound
in cardboard. (no pic of these either yet)

To see the tapes visit

Located in Scotland, could post or deliver locally.

I think the way to go would be RWAP services, or (maybe) making a
snapshot of all and sending it to worldofspectrum.org... I would be
glad to receive all that stuff, but I live in Italy.

Turns out That the spectrum and the mags were thrown out in my
absence, so all that's there is the tapes. I have it now, will look
through and catalogue, potentially make TAPS or whatever? Can I just
use a HIFI tape deck and a soundcard?

Oh my God what a loss :(

I think tape + soundcard is a good way to go. Just plug it in and use
some of the software written for this job (MakeTZX comes to mind, but
there are many more around).

I have my best HIFI-Cassettedeck running Spectrum tap/tzx sounds. Left
and Right channel the same peak, and DOLBY NR (Ray Dolby Noise
Reduction) off!

best regards,
