Ok, a long time ago, in a land far across the big pond, there was
once a programming contest promoted by a 'Zine that had a national
circulation.

I ended up winning the thing with a learning game for kids that
taught facts about our solar system. Part of the premize was
learning to locate where the space ship was. Sadly it had a defective
main screen, so there were no visual clues where the ship was it.

By answering the Q & A part of the game the person playing the game
could use the Q & A to locate the spaceships location in the
solar system. The 'Main Viewing screen' of the space ship up until
it 'failed' was a normal graphic, the 'crashed viewing screen'
used the 'loading' method to depict the 'crash', sort of a reverse
to the topic of this discussion.
