I posted a tutorial, where any adult can clearly coomprehend that...
a. No external disk is required
b. No separate machine is required,
In fact, the tutorial expressly explains that it all works on the Mac.

Andreas Rutishauser writes back stating that he thinks the system is
worthless because
a. He whooshed in that he thinks an external disk is required, and, 
b. He whooshed in that he thinks a separate machine is required.

Jesus Christ. I've never met such stupid people.

If it was just him, or just Lewis, or just nospam, or just BK@OnRamp, or
just Savageduck, or just any of the other common Apple Apologists, I'd
simply chalk it up to _their_ stupidity, and not to the group as a whole.

But _all_ the posters, to date, _proved_ they can't comprehend even the
_simplest_ of solutions.

In a way, _that_ should be the lesson.
Perhaps it's just that such stupid people _gravitate_ to Apple products?

My goal here is simply to bring adult facts to this newsgroup.

For example:
More proof the Apple posters simply throw unwarranted FUD at new ideas.

The user "joe" writes, verbatim:
 "The task is done without messing with a DVD drive, Ubuntu, or a terrible
UI."

In that one sentence alone, "joe" proved he got wrong multiple things
a. He can't do 9/10ths of what the proposed system can clearly do
b. Besides, there's no need for DVD (in fact, most Macs don't have a DVD)
c. The UI can be simply the native Mac file explorer (if you hate Nautilus)

Most adults can comprehend the first two so I won't belabor what "joe" 
missed; but the third item takes an adult comprehensive skill set to flesh 
out further.

If "joe" is so afraid of the default "Nautilus" file explorer on Ubuntu, 
there doesn't seem to be much stopping him from reversing the process, and 
staying on the Mac, if that's what he so desperately wants to do.
