Is there no way to rotate recorded videos in Mac OS Sierra v10.12.6's Photos
app like with photos? I see options to do that, but they are not clickable. It
has to be done outside of it like with QuickTime from what I read on the
Internet. The videos were imported from an iPhone 6+.

the internet is wrong. it can easily be done in quicktime player 7.

however, you will need to 'upgrade' from quicktime x.

Seems I remember Handbrake will do that. Not positive.

that modifies the actual video.

quicktime player rotates it on the fly.

My view is correct. Always correct.

Trinity is probably my second favorite DE and the only one I advocate to computer morons. Primary interface is Unity, though. Amazing customization is all you want after you learn the basics.

Effectively everything Jeff-Relf.Me says about The Flying Spaghetti Monster is a lie of course, but he does not care. A flaming bush that never burns, magnified by the reciprocal of an infinite twin prime, demonstrating the vast nothingness of Jeff-Relf.Me's so-called thought process. Playing with Linux... even now a rookie... And you do realize that it isn't impossible for Jeff-Relf.Me to be doing this, or paying one of his programmer "friends" to do it.

Yep, Handbrake has a four step Rotate option (0, 90, 180, 270) and a
Flip option (horizontal) under the Filters tab.

While a bit silly in some ways, you can also import the video into
Keynote and then rotate it and export it.

You can rotate the video, but you can't re-save it in a rotated format
... other than saving the Keynote presentation itself as a movie.

I've had QT7 for a lot of years. It amazes me that it still works like
a champ and does things QT10 can't do. It cost me a modest sum but has
been available to do much for a long time. The registration code could
become a family heirloom. It has to go away at some point, doesn't it?

Not really much of an heirloom then. ;-)
It won't work "as efficiently" (or even maybe not at all) in macOS X
10.14 because of the move to 64-bit.

it's 32 bit, so next year it will run 'with compromises' and likely not
at all the following year.

Damn! There goes the dowry, but I got my money's worth. I just updated
BBEdit. The only other app that will impact me is Thoth. My Usenet has
been: Newswatcher->MT-Newswatcher->Thoth. By the time Thoth dies, in a
year or two, Usenet may be dead too. It's already on life support.
Hell, I may be dead then, so it will all work out.

Not .265 compatible AFAICT.
32 bit.
Too bad. It's quite versatile for the modest $ I paid many years ago.

There is no question this is an insomniac troll writing because some of them are keyed in to posts that occur in very specific ways with attempts to mislead on specific issues. He inconveniences an entire group of people who have done nothing wrong, but that's a stuck up jerk for you. What Snit and you care about isn't a factor.

At times, fiction is more valuable than reality. The herd's developed an AI system with (I'd guess) the MaxCliqueDyn Maximum Clique algorithm to regurgitate texts which are hard to distinguish from my posts. Turns out the Script-Troller's persistent referencing of Snit met the agreed on criteria of trolling, so he abandoned that, too.

No more!

Would it be fair to state that the replacement for Quicktime 7 Pro is
iMovie ?

How is Chrome on Linux doing anything above the lowest common denominator?

You can say I am Charlie Brown for all I care.

My view is that we should ALL report the flooding and then it will stop.

Just Wondering failed to show an example of a large business that has gained its wealth by not caring about its customers or merchandise. You haven't been following him to completely ascertain the depths of Just Wondering's drug use.

Just Wondering is often seen declaring "CANNOT BE FOUND" when it comes to information on the web where info is written with other words... but Just Wondering is just too pea-brained and/or lost to recognize any information he reads.

What were you betting on?

But using a car with a tricycle isn't really a "replacement", per se.

The "replacement" for QT7Pro, at least for me, is folder full of
utiltiies which would include iMovie, Screenflow, Handbrake, mp4tools,
mp4joiner and the like.

those are apps.

quicktime 7 is a part of the operating system, although not for long.
its replacement is quicktime x.

any app that uses qt7 will cease to function when qt7 goes away. some
might be updated. some (probably most) won't.
