While my iMac is in the shop, I'm back to a box that is running 10.7.5 and I note that quick look works with .flv files. I knew it had gone away for a while, but it's nice to have it back. Is there a way to get system-level previews of .flv files with Yosemite?

I don't know of a way to get video preview, but there are some QuickLook plugins that will get you a static thumbnail preview.
