Are USB flash drives (aka stick drives) or SDHC memory cards more reliable in terms of durability? Also how about USB ports on computers or memory card ports?

I believe that memory cards and USB stick drives use the same
technology. The only real difference is the interface to the computer.

The cards are more reliable in that you can't knock them or bend them
like the sticks which stick out. The other day I knocked one sticking
out of my car radio when I went to adjust the volume, the event caused
me to veer right and crash at high speed into a power pole. The pole
survived, I was killed. Served me right.

"Are Xs or Ys more Z?" can be read as ""Are Xs more Z than Ys or are
Ys more Z than Xs or are they equally Z?"

The depends on how they're made -

http://www.oempcworld.com/support/SLC_vs_MLC.htm

Either can be fine, if you're willing to pay about 4x more.

My impression is there's some slop (slightly out of tolerence)
in USB connectors. I've also seen the same problem with the
ethernet connectors on early MacBook computers.
