A while ago there was some discussion here about Menu Meters
causing a problem on Mavericks. The thread has expired on my
server, so I have to start a new one.

I've been using the two together for about six weeks now,
and have not found any trouble at all. I'm not yet using
much third-party software, though. So far just -

Bartender (gets unnecessary stuff out of the menu bar)
Earth Desk (displays live cloud images on the desktop)
Little Snitch
KeyRemap4MacBook
MailMate (a damn nice email user agent)

And Safari and Terminal.

June 25, 2013, Raging Menace released Menumeters 1.6.1 because 1.6
wouldn't work with the preview version of OS 10.9. I found that 1.6
worked with 10.9.1.

Works without any problems over here.

Menu Meters v1.6.1 works fine with Bret&Bart on my Late 2012 Mini.
