It's common practice to publish maiden names in obituaries. At a former employer when I wanted a password reset and they asked me for my mother's date of birth. "How did they know that?" I asked myself. The answer clicked once I thought about it: they had sponsored me for immigration so had seen all that info. I came across a suggestion long ago of using the registration number of your first car. Who else would know that? Well, mine probably disappeared off the official records long before computerisation, but it might be lurking somewhere on a photo or even an insurance company computer. A long forgotten speeding or parking ticket could have crept onto a computer too. -- Paul Sture

Pussy Wagon is so 1974 and the reference to your sisters in that regard
is really creepy.
