Is there no way to rotate recorded videos in Mac OS Sierra v10.12.6's Photos
app like with photos? I see options to do that, but they are not clickable. It
has to be done outside of it like with QuickTime from what I read on the
Internet. The videos were imported from an iPhone 6+.

The videos were imported from an iPhone 6+. the internet is wrong. it can easily be done in quicktime player 7. <http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uHQksWKTm2Q/S7EGcT2HElI/AAAAAAAABV8/M4IPIQrn4 go/s1600/rotate+movie+pref.jpg> however, you will need to 'upgrade' from quicktime x.

You can rotate the video, but you can't re-save it in a rotated format ... other than saving the Keynote presentation itself as a movie.

Not really much of an heirloom then. ;-) It won't work "as efficiently" (or even maybe not at all) in macOS X 10.14 because of the move to 64-bit.

There goes the dowry, but I got my money's worth. I just updated BBEdit. The only other app that will impact me is Thoth. My Usenet has been: Newswatcher->MT-Newswatcher->Thoth. By the time Thoth dies, in a year or two, Usenet may be dead too. It's already on life support. Hell, I may be dead then, so it will all work out. leo

Not .265 compatible AFAICT.
32 bit.
Too bad. It's quite versatile for the modest $ I paid many years ago.

But using a car with a tricycle isn't really a "replacement", per se. The "replacement" for QT7Pro, at least for me, is folder full of utiltiies which would include iMovie, Screenflow, Handbrake, mp4tools, mp4joiner and the like.
