#68077 — Question about airport networks

I have an Airport Extreme and an Airport Express. The Extreme is the
base station, and the Express is configured as "Join a wireless
network", not "Extend a wireless network". It is connected via
ethernet to my DVR. My question is whether wireless devices can
connect to it as well, or is it limited to ethernet connections with
this configuration?

Likewise, if I reconfigured it to "Extend a wireless network", would it
allow both wireless and ethernet connections?

In "join" mode, wireless devices cannot connect to it.

Yes, I believe that is the case.
