Hello.

I have two/2 issues with the (new/lat)est iTunes versions in Mac OS X
(e.g., 10.5.8, 10.8.5, and 10.10.1).

1. How do I make iTunes stop asking me to log into my Apple account
after I start up iTunes? I do not always want to be logged in. I will
log in when I need to. I don't like keeping my accounts logged in all
the time for security reasons anyways.

2. 70+ apps makes iTunes freeze to show a pinwheel for a few minutes
before starting to download them. Is this normal?

Thank you in advance. :)

What security issues have you invented this time?

This sentence makes no sense.

Not stayed in logged in since I borrowed other people's Macs.

When iTunes tries to start downloading over 70 apps, it freezes for a
few minutes with a spinning pinwheel. :(

If you borrow someone else's Mac you should create a new Mac OS X user
account for yourself, which takes just a few seconds in the System
Preferences > Accounts panel, and keeps your private data (including any
login credentials) away from prying eyes. If you do that, there is no
need to log out of various web sites, applications, and what not in your
user account.

Could have just been a glitch - iTunes is full of them.
