Well, it's the last straw.

Word for Mac sucks. Excel for Mac sucks.

Obviously OS X is hopeless. Not enough Apps. Apple are slow to update
it. And fricken Apple computers are expensive.

I'm picking up a spanking new Dell with Windows 8 today. An OS that is
made for humans and is built on an evolving operating system.

I was thinking about getting a spanking new Windows box, but then I realised it
would be bawling all night long demanding more ram, puking up core, and making a
mess in its disks that I would have to clean up all the times. Plus all the
immunizations against virusses and diseases: they're a plague incubator in your
nursery.

Office apps for Mac still have a proper menu bar. This alone means that
they suck significantly less than their Windows brethren.

(I await with some trepidation to see what Microsoft will do whenever
they finally bring out Office 2014. It's possible they may do an iWork
on it, just to spite us...)

Never heard that they had vacuum cleaner capabilities :-) (and if they
did, that they actually worked).

The guy just likes to rag on Apple. Ignore him, and just be happy that
when he switches to that "other" platform, It'll be much quieter in this

And he'll have a lot more to whinge about - assuming it wasn't just a
poisson d'Avril.

Or Aprilscherz even, since Bernd posted from a .de address.

Well, you may be right. The original posting was from April first. But
judging from his past posts, I'm still not convinced it was supposed to
be a joke.
