Repair bill estimated at $450,000 !!!!

Note that one would not normally aim snowblower output towards
buildings/glass.

Of most important significance here: The 15 panels were installed in
2011, replacing the original cube that was made up of 90 panels.


One comment seen: "I hope Apple purchased Applecare for that glass" :-)

And that $450K figure looks dodgy too:

"The blog 9to5mac.com estimates that replacing the panel could cost
$450,000 US, based on the reported $6.7-million cost of the 2011
renovation."

Methinks that's an invalid extrapolation.
