The NSA has the benefit of uniting liberals and conservatives. As a
liberal I was deeply offended when, under the Bush Administration, the
NSA and Homeland Security were rampantly trampling on the rights of US
citizens. Oddly the right wing offered little complaint about it at the
time while many liberals were appalled. Back then the sorts of things
that have been "leaked" recently by Snowden et al- as if they were new-
were well known to be in play in 2004...

I am still deeply offended as this nonsense continues under the Obama
Administration... now with a lot of company from the right wing side of
the political spectrum. I feel closer to them than ever.

It points to who is really in power in Washington and controls whoever
is president as a puppet. It's the Military and all the 3 letter orgs.

They go the the president and pretend that without those programmes, the
USA would crumble under terrorist attacks and makes it very hard for any
president to say NO.

I really thought Obama was going to be smart and strong enough to
dismiss that propaganda, but he isn't and has succombed to their
brainwashing.

The thing is that even if Obama were to grant Mr Snowden immunity and
invite him back to the USA, I am not sure he would be safe there.

Difficult with a double-digit IQ and no background other than being a
professional agitator...

Anyone who believes that Obama has a double digit IQ must have a double
digit IQ himself.

Correct me if I am wrong, Michelle, but I am betting that the point
you were trying to make in this case was NOT "It takes one to know one."

I guess we'll never know for sure since we really don't know much else about
the guy. No birth certificate, no college transcripts, etc., etc.

But those who still DEFEND the jerk pretty much possess one that doesn't
exceed the January mean daily high temperature in Barrow Alaska. In
Celsius...
