"your Name" like to argue just for the sake of it. This one is a prime example of the "glass half empty" syndrome...

I agree with not being able to find the > cable sometimes! Well exactly, and I have been doing similar with my Canon, except I try not to let it go near the labyrinths of iPhoto! Nor the supplied with camera Canon software. Not that they are bad. More that I just need to get hold of the pics, I have my own ways to handle them. I use the relatively simple (Apple) Image Capture. For my Sony, it is even better! As I have said, it just appears as a disk on the desktop on connection, that is almost heaven for me... almost because I have to connect the cable (a rather ungainly piece of work that came with the camera - it has multi function things on it to enable TV connections, AV and that sort of thing...), at least it is easy enough to find, being only able to be confused with the blunderbuss charging cable with its power brick! A small camera with wifi to make the memory appear as a disk on a desktop would be the ideal. I have not been able to ascertain whether this is exactly obtainable, I would bet against it if I had to punt. -- dorayme
