After upgrading to Mountain Lion I noticed a major annoyance in Mail. Mail no longer shows the spinning sync progress indicator next to the mailboxes. I wonder if anybody has figured out how to bring this back?

I wonder if anybody has figured out how to bring this back? I haven't gone looking. I assume it is a bug in the initial release of Mountain Lion, and it will be fixed later. In the meantime I'm leaving the Activity window open behind and slightly to the left of my Mail window, so I can see when something is happening. -- David Empson dempson@actrix.gen.nz

Mine quit doing it when I got Lion.
