#62279 — iMessage and Notification Center

FromMichelle Steiner <michelle@michelle.org>
Date2014-07-16 14:01 -0700
SubjectiMessage and Notification Center
Message-ID<160720141401210128%michelle@michelle.org>
Notification Center settings has a Share Buttons preference; it lets
you send iMessages and to post to Facebook from the Notification
Center. Day before yesterday, the button to send an iMessage vanished
from there. I can't figure out how to get it back.

Any suggestions short of logging out and back in, or restarting the
computer? If all else fails, I'll try them.

At the very bottom of the display is little gear thing. Click on it for
myriad options including a share button.

And that doesn't do any good; it just turns the share button on and
off. When it's on, it's supposed to show both iMessage and Facebook,
but as I wrote, as of two days ago, it shows only Facebook.

What happens if you launch Messages? I thin the last time I saw
something like this it was because Messages had decided my credentials
were wrong.
