See, all them USAliens are *always wrong. We can have a *sort* of Pi
day with 31/4/15. The 31th of April. It's a bent Pi day. A banana Pi
day.
The slight bugbear being that April don't have a 31th. But we can
always work around that by stealing a day from February.
If Julius can do it and if Augustus can do it *we* certainly can.
Anyway, I've never liked February, too damned cold.

There's a million or so equations that can find Pi's digits for you.
The WikiP article upthread should point to some. Most are *easy*. Or
you could just search for "pi two million digits" in your favourite
search engine.
Download a few and compare them.
Fun for *ages*.
It would certainly occupy you until the *Real Pi Day*, 3/14/*16*.
Premature USAliens.

(Which was a bogus thing to begin with!) Anyway, now I am hungry for the eating sort of pie. No Pi for you! (Seinfeld)

Presumably in the US format. Just searched the above string. Way too short: It'll come up with the first three digits (US or European order) but /no mas/. Using the search feature in Thumderbird. Presumably in the US format. In any format. And mine does not appear (in ISO format). It didn't use to appear in any format, but since they upgrade to 200,000,000 digits, it now appears in both US and correct format. All month/day or day/month birthdays can be found in the first 61,000 digits of pi. <http://www.angio.net/pi/> -- http://2blog.kreme.com It was a fifty-four with a mashed up door and a cheesy little amp with a sign on the front said "Fender Champ" and a second-hand guitar it was a Stratocaster with a whammy bar

Presumably in the US format. <http://www.facade.com/legacy/amiinpi/> is one. It could find 12142, but not 120142, 1211942, or 12011942 There is another at <http://www.angio.net/pi/> It found 120142, 12011942, and 1211942 because it uses a more exact approximation of pi (i.e., more digits after the decimal point).
