How does it prove that?

Believe it or not, I do have them.  He asked me if I wanted his uniform 
(Navy) and I said sure.  I didn't know he had saved the socks, too.  :-)

My dad kept a diary from the day he was inducted into the US Navy in
WWII until the day he was discharged; I had that and his dog tags from
a few days after he died in 1997 until I gave them to my daughter a few
months ago.  I also gave her my army dog tags, and a dog tag I got from
the NYC school system in the 3rd grade.  (That dog tag was so that my
body could be identified should I die during a nuclear attack by the
USSR.  It has my name, my parents' names, and our address on it.)

Yup! Dads from the Greatest Generation, there is so much we owe them, 
and they should be remembered.

of Duplicate (in applications which support the Autosave and Versions

It was new to me as I had skipped 10.7 & 10.8, going from 10.6.8 
directly to 10.9.
