Maybe. There is no evidence they survived their escape.

Perfect for iOS.
Add Soledad, Folsom, Tehatchapi, San Quentin, Corcoran, etc. then the
iOS geeks will have something to jailbreak.

Tioga Lake is barely known, and there's no Mammoth Lake. Are you
thinking of Tioga Pass, Tenaya Lake, and the town of Mammoth Lakes?

And didn't Apple already say that they were going to use California
names? So yeah, it's a coincidence that Yosemite is a national park;
that isn't necessarily what the next name will represent.

I think it was MacRumors (and probably elsewhere) that reposrted a few
weeks ago that Apple had registered various names ... I can't recall
what any of them were though.

Yellowstone is not in California, which is the theme they seem to be
using, not National Parks. Note, Mavericks isn't a National Park.

Well, yes, since you've reported that Apple has said they're going to
use just CA names. I've sailed across Mavericks and have watched from
the shore before it became so newsworthy.

I hope you're not telling me where Yellowstone is, or what Mavericks is
and is not...And, .based on new information, I withdraw speculation that
it's going to be Yellowstone, or any national park.

Now I'm liking Big Sur.

:)

Me too, actually I love Big Sur as it is in my neighborhood so to
speak. A drive along Hwy 1 from Cambria through to Carmel, with the
various locations through Big Sur is one of my regular escapes.

They have to be a bit careful. "Sur" in French can mean "sour" ... "Big
Sour" may not sell well, even for free. ;-)

With the continuing "flattening", translucency, iOS-ification, etc.,
the next version of Mac OS X may well be "Big Sour" since it's becoming
a big lemon. :-(

Spoken like a true idiot.

Meanwhile, the rest of us will enjoy it!

I thought 10.10 would be Big Sur, But I had no idea what a massive
update it was going to be. Yosemite makes sense.`

You are not paying attention.

Mavericks is not a national park and Yellowstone is not in California.
