Oh yeah. I'm a belt-and-suspenders kind of guy when it comes to my data. 
That was especially true for the 25 years I ran a one-man consulting 
business full time from a home office.

I made two separate daily Time Machine backups (one kept in a data 
safe). I also kept an off-site TM backup in my bank safe deposit box 
that I rotated at least twice monthly. The vault lady and I were on a 
first name basis. I think she soon tired of seeing me so often though. 
I'd bring a box of donuts for the staff once in a while.
