This is something I have only seen since I upgraded my MBP (Early 2011, 2.0 GHz i7, 4 Gig Memory) to Yosemite. I haven't seen it on my mid-2010 iMac (27", 3.6 GHz i5, 12 Gig memory), which I recently upgraded. Anyway, sometimes when I want to go back to the previous page, I will do the 2 finger sweep to do so. However, instead of bringing me to the next page, the page will seemingly move about an inch to the right and be stuck there. Refreshing the page doesn't do any good, and using the back arrow gives me the previous page, still moved to the right by about an inch. Oddly enough, even though the various links seem to have moved over, I can only click on them by clicking about an inch to the left of where they appear, in other words in the position they would be in if the page hadn't apparently "moved" an inch to the right. Only way to get things back to normal is to close the tab, and reopen it. Weird!
