If you open very large documents with BBEdit 8.5.x - i.e. +100Mb - especially with lots of HTML coding or huge databases to correct something, it can take long time - 2-3 mins. to find specific character combinations such as page and line breaks, color codes etc.. The same search type with BBEdit 9.6.x takes less than a minute.
