Not a restart, but it's relaoding a memory image, and then doing
what needs to be done to resume running it.

You can set the time it stays in sleep (before going into standby)
up to 24 hours, or disable the standby mode. Launch the Terminal
emulator and "man pmset" for details. Or buy a copy of -

and just use it to set Safe Sleep as you'd like.
