1. My Safari bookmarks were just as before — no problem there.
2. I also had to sign in for iCloud again on one machine, but second 
machine didn't.
3. iCloud had the same selections as before and the same items not selected.
4. No dock icon problems

Another plus for me is that my Mail.app dock icon now has the correct 
number of unread messages showing; the incorrect, "frozen" number had 
been a minor annoyance before.
