I just realized I copied the wrong alias. Oops. The above command
looks for files named ".AppleDouble", which isn't what you want.
This is what you want instead:
alias remove_appledoubles='find . -name "._*" -print -exec rm -rf "{}" \;'
Or without the alias:
find . -name "._*" -print -exec rm -rf "{}" \;
