Thanks to *all* who replied. Siri Crews wins the award for the most
hilarious reply:

etc. etc.

Anyway, I lied about the images. They are FITS files. Here's how I
solved the problem: Use Nebulosity.app to batch convert FITS to PNG.
Use QT 7 Pro to convert the PNG's (1,400 of them) to a QT video. Use
Final Cut Pro X to touch up the video and export via Compressor.

The only labor involved is clicking buttons, so it's about as quick to
do as it is to describe.

The video is from a Starlight Xpress Oculus all-sky-camera. It's poor
due to partly cloudy weather and third-rate Windoze software that I
used to control the camera (I have found a Mac solution that works
better, and I'll use it on the next clear night). The video is here
<https://www.flickr.com/photos/primeval/13990273813/in/photostream/>.
For some reason it's a slow starter, so be patient

The two brightest objects are Jupiter (lower right, soon disappears
behind house) and Mars (lower left). Look for the Big Dipper (or
Plough, if you are British), and for Polaris, the one star in this
video that does not move because it /appears/ that all the other stars
in the northern hemisphere rotate around Polaris.

Thanks again!
