nobody said you must use any particular maps app.

based on what?

street view is exceptionally and something apple will never have.
that's just the way it is,

for those who want street view, apple maps is a non-starter.

flyover is a lame substitute and doesn't cover very many areas and it
never will.

it's intended purpose is to provide accurate maps and it failed at that.
