I have an Epson Stylus Photo R200 where I have installed the latest 
printer package several times.  Each time the utility tells me I need to 
install the latest software.

Today I deleted the printer and added it.  Problem solved, although I 
have  no idea why I had to do it.  I don't think I ever did before.
