Hi Michael,

No. I don't think there is any active open-source project currently.

There are only the commercial products SuperCard and LiveCode (formerly
Revolution). Approximately 6 months ago, a new version of HyperStudio
was released, which might be of interest to you but currently lacks a
scripting language.

Hello Mark,

thank you for your answer.

I think that's bad news, the open source community is missing an
interesting opportunity to attract "non programmers" for GNU/Linux.

Michael.

Hi Michael,

During the past 25 years, several open-source initiatives have been
started, but they all suffered a silent death. I think, if this really
would have been such a big opportunity for the open-source community,
then there would have been more participants in these initiatives.
Apparently, it is not interesting enough. I don't think it is worth
discussing anymore, unless someone brings in a very big pile of money to
finance an (open-source) project.

SuperCard is still around. Costs some money, but it is definitely worth
it - if you want do continue using old stacks and develop new stacks.
