#18723 — New version of Unison soon

I tweeted to @panic about features missing in Unison for picking up the slack after MT-NW, they responded with "We'll have an ipdate out soon. Stay tuned."

Don't read too much into it though, Unison hasn't received the amount of love from Panic that we would have wanted...

I hope this is true. I've reported several bugs which they've stated
will be addressed by the development team in future releases but they
are vague about how active development has been. :-/

If it would wrap lines instead of using flowed text and if it would
probably generate valid Message-ID headers I would use it exclusively.

They've been lying since version 1.0. Every complaint I had was
supposed to be fixed in 2.0. None were, and they *still* expected me to
pay to upgrade. Fool me once . . .

Well, for what it's worth, I requested the regexp filtering when it was
newly released, which was rather promptly implemented. I posted this a
couple of days ago:

We'll see if anything is implemented in the next version :)

That's their standard line.

So you're saying we shouldn't be holding our breaths waiting? :)

I wouldn't - been there, done that!
