The irritating bug in Pages following the MacOS 10.14 update which
removed spelling choices for properly flagged misspellings has been
fixed- by either the 10.14.1 update or the Pages 7.3 update, both of
which I installed today,

I've made an interesting discovery. The "no spelling corrections
choices" bug in fact wasn't related to either the Pages version or the
MacOS version.

The culprit was a very long Pages document- over 150 pages of daily
chronological progress notes for a project in process. When I cut/pasted
the last 30 pages from it into a new document, the spelling choices
worked fine.

What led me astray previously was "testing" for the bug in a newly
created one-page test document rather than trying it on the long
document. It worked fine in the test leading to my erroneous conclusion
that the new versions had fixed the problem.

I fix any spellmisspeller that turns up in any application I use
immediately by killing it.
