Once I'm into a grouping it plays thru but it doesn't always start with the first track in the grouping. Is there any way to force that?

Is there any way to force that? Um... RANDOM will not start with the first track more often that (1/(number of tracks) times. -- How soon after the USPS issues the Calvin stamp will you send a letter with one on the envelope? Watterson: Immediately. I'm going to get in my horse and buggy and snail-mail a check for my newspaper subscription.

Sounds like you're saying random is random and I'm stuck with it. I thought that might be the case but hope springs eternal!

The only change Apple has made to random, and this was years ago, is that it will randomize the entire playlist, not just the next track (too many people complained on getting the same song twice in a row, which of course will happen with an entirely random list). -- 'Luck is my middle name,' said Rincewind, indistinctly. 'Mind you, my first name is Bad.' --Interesting Times
