If you try to run MT-Newswatcher under OS X 10.9.1 it presents you with
a dialog box saying

"MT-NewsWatcher needs Open Transport to run....."

Unless someone can figure out how add back Open Transport, my guess is
MT-NewsWatcher is toast.

I am trying Unison with this posting. Seem to wrok but I will miss
MT-NewsWatcher

You can get Thoth from CNET. It's the same thing. Just be sure to
choose "install later" to save the file so you don't get stuff you
don't want like having your default search engine changed.

And Thoth is now no longer being supported but it works well.

Good luck trying to register it so you can use it beyond the 30-day
trial period. Brian wouldn't budge; no reg code for me, even when I
offered to pay handsomely.

it's also no longer being sold. you can't get a registration code
anymore, which means you will need *another* app in 30 days, after the
trial runs out.
