Also, people still use mouses? I'm somewhat joking, of course, but I haven't used a mouse as my main input device in years. I find the multi-touch track pad to be far superior in many ways. Disagree. I, too, wondered about that when I installed the next OS version, forget which it was now, when the little arrows were no more. Then I realised that, in fact, since I've been using a Mighty Mouse for some years now, I never touch the arrows. I altered the System Prefs so that the scroll bar is always there (even if empty), since having it there is a useful visual indicator of whether there is content one has to scroll for. With the Mighty Mouse I can move the pointer at the same time as scrolling a document in two directions simultaneously. The only time I touch the scroll bar with the mouse is when my MM needs cleaning and doesn't scroll any more. > MS is *not* above doing such things, either. Equally, Apple's attempt to remove Save As and give us an iOS-like experience on the Mac was a big mistake.
