#28783 — Safari hangs and kills logouts

SubjectSafari hangs and kills logouts
Message-ID<mgeakm$d6m$1@speranza.aioe.org>
I'm not exactly sure when this started but lately I notice Safari
doesn't quit when I exit and if I try to log out it hangs and has to be
force quit. I looked at the logs but couldn't figure anything out. Has
anybody else run into this? Is there possibly some setting I need to
correct?

Did you:

1. Make note of the precise time you attempted to quit Safari (or when
you logged out)?

2. Look for console and system.log entries with a date and time that
matches?

Safari's been borked for a while now. It will eventually just stop
working, and even relaunching it does not fix the problem.

Force quitting it, and then logging out and back in again cures this
problem for a time. It's really annoying.

Not at my house on several machines, and not on any of the Macs I work
with.
