Could you share the information you were able to find about the correct memory driver to use with the LC/Classic version of SoftPC?

Clueless Google Groups users...

You are responding to a post from 1993. It is 2015, twenty two years
later.

Still, I wonder why anyone in 2015 would want to run Windows emulated
under classic MacOS with a 68K coded x86 emulator. If there's a worse
way to run Windows, I've not heard about it. I mean at least get
SoftWindows instead, which ran a lot faster (see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SoftPC for info). I owned a bunch of older
Windows emulators (they got very cheap on ebay after Apple switched from
PPC to x86) just for laughs. Softwindows was the only one worth running
on a 68K Mac, IMO. It was even good enough to run some simple Windows
games. But for DOS games I used RealPC.

Nowadays of course I just run DOSbox, VMware Fusion, or boot natively
into WinXp on my iMac.

Definitely. I remember VirtualPC well - hated every minute I spent
messing with it.

I had a copy of VitualPC for my old G4, version 6? I also had an even
older version, the original from Innotek that was for OS/2. I used it on
my Warp Connect box.

Is that info in the Headers, did you divine it from the topic, or look
it up?

Nope. The original post is from April 1993, as shown here:

Of course the OP's headers have that info, but to get to it you had to
go to Google. My question was is there info in the headers of the first
post of this thread that's this C. only that indicated how long ago the
post was made?

I think the answer is: You looked it up, unless your NNTP server has
very long retention, or you have arranged to save every post for the
last several decades!

Correct. The post wasn't on my news server, which was the first clue it
was very old. Looking it up on Google Groups told me the rest.
