Upthread had suggested several options: IMAP and BCC Self. I thought you
were suggesting a third option, since you didn't say something like "In
addition to BCC'ing self"

Nonono... IMAP didn't work for OP.
My tip does require BCC self.

Will be do *nothing* to solve the OPs problem since it is SENT mail that
he has a problem with.

And that about solves the problem stated by the OP. If he want's to
continue to use POP.

It "solves" it if he wants a copy of the outgoing mail instead of the
actual sent mail, yes.

That doesn't seem to do it. The other devices don't show the sent
messages that are on the server - just the ones which originated with
them.

Copying yourself is a really inelegant and wasteful work-around
solution. Some obvious issues off the top of my head include: the copies
you send will not be exact duplicates (for instance they will have their
own Message-ID headers, dates, and so on) which may cause headaches down
the line if you decide to compare messages (for instance to remove
duplicates, and so on), and they also effectively double email traffic
and storage space required for all messages you send.

The recommended and far more elegant and simple solution (assuming it is
available) is to switch to using IMAP, where all sent messages are
stored on the IMAP server, and are therefore automatically available to
any email client that connects to the server.

Bccing works very well, Doc, and was very easy to implement, of course.
 Nice solution!

Comcrap uses POP email instead of IMAP.

It makes Comcrap useless.

Yes. Don't use Comcrap for email.

+1

I use Comcast for internet (because there's nothing faster around me) but for
email it's Comcraptastic.

Switch to IMAP (from POP).
