Clicking there produces an opportunity to signin to a website where I
have no membership. You're really new at this spam thing, aren't you?

I would say that you are the one who seems new at the spam business. Do
you think that the spammer is hanging around this newsgroup with bated
breath, waiting for someone to respond? Are you lonely with no one to
talk to?

But I'm not in the spam business. I'm in the commenting on nothing in
particular business.

No, but on the very off chance that he is, I figured he should know his
link is probably not doing what he intended it to.

No. Are you angry about something?

Why would you want to do him any favors? If he doesn't reel in enough
suckers, he'll stop spamming.

I'm just a helpful guy, I guess.

Wait a minute, you're saying that spammers can be stopped if there
stupid enough? I'll have to think about the logic of that.

They do it because they send millions for free, and the hundred suckers
that respond get him enough money to make him thinking he should do it
again. If he screws up his website AND nobody tells him, or any other
situation keeps him from getting anything at all, then he'll decide it
wasn't worth the time to type the spam.

That's one view. I am of the opinion that in the end spammer's NEVER
get what they want and that's why they ALWAYS go away.

My parents called it the "Parson's nose" and it was always regarded as
inedible, so went in the dog.

Lucky dog. It's really the 'tail' of the bird. Skin around fat and
bone. Very edible.

Small dog?
Reason I ask is I grew up being told that our dogs would choke on

Whether you call it "Parson's Nose" or "Last Part of the Bird Over the
Fence", it doesn't have any bones.

I toss it in the pot with the neck and other trimmings to make stock for
the gravy.

Gristle rather than bone I think. We too avoided giving chicken bones
to dogs. We were told that chicken bones are prone to splintering and
that's where they are dangerous for dogs.

It's advice I followed when I had a dog myself.
