Which I was sure I had already checked, but ... Sorry, I could have told you that if I'd got to your post sooner. I've used VirtualBox a lot, although mainly on Windows then Linux hosts, and clicking on "Don't tell me again" becomes second nature with practice. The VirtualBox management GUI isn't as good on OS X as on Linux or Windows, but it is far far better than when they first made the OS X version available; I was seriously considering learning how to do it all from the command line in earlier versions. >> I wish I could persuade VirtualBox to stop reversing my window size >> changes every thirty seconds. Have you installed the Guest Additions on the client? This is the first job you need to do after an installation as it gives you networking, copy and paste between client and host (for some strange reason copy and paste are disabled by default in the settings for the OS X version), and screen resizing. > But it's finally running. No network connection yet, but whatever. I initially found that Networking -> Bridged Adaptor was the way to go for my needs, but Mavericks broke that. I have been using NAT without problems since that upgrade. -- Paul Sture
