How do you open one of these on a Mac without destroying the formatting? I can open it with Open Office, Bean, and if I remember correctly, even Pages, but the format is destroyed. The original is a paper with endnotes I'm supposed to submit as Word. I can save as Word, though I have to mail it as a .pdf, but they want me to make a couple corrections in the docx they sent me and the side note stuff ends up in places where it haa no discernible connection to the text. Cryptic notes don't help. Even if I could make sense of it and make the corrections, the endnotes would still be turned into page notes, which is the wrong format. -- Erilar, biblioholic medievalist with iPad
