A quick glance at the output of ps shows me that at least on this 10.7 
system that I'm typing from, CrashPlan and Wuala both run /usr/bin/java.

Not sure if either of these run in 10.5 or earlier (my machines are all 
10.6 and 10.7), but it's likely that there are other apps which use it 
and that it's not going to be obvious, especially to someone who only 
knows from the GUI.
