She is knowledgeable about everything in her field and is not likely to make a single mistake when applying her knowledge. However, when it comes to transferring her knowledge to others, she has no patience and expects people to read whatever material she sends and remember everything, re-reading what was written if there are any doubts. In my case, I have way too much patience, and try to find tricks and patterns that can make tasks easier because I routinely try to put myself in the shoes of the learner. Except that you were consistently beaten by the best two - McColl and Floer - you raced against. As in 1 or 2 wins out of too many races to count. As for McKay - I downloaded all 14 2019 races data. Three of those Dave lost badly. Of the remaining 11 closer races you finished ahead of Dave in 2, Dave ahead in 9, by out-driving you. As always you only look at the data in a way that makes you look as good as possible. From 2019 forward you raced against historically weaker competition, if you raced at all. Teaching and racing are different skill sets. I never said you are not a great teacher. But I do not know. Who were your pupils? Let's see how they performed. Failure to disclose is an admission of failure. How long were you an instructor? Tenure is another metric of success. Year or two, or still instructing?

Certainly there were two races where Dave finished behind me by roughly 28 and 44 seconds (and where you just declared that it must have meant he had some kind of "problem")... ...but there were also three races where I finished behind Dave by signifcant numbers: roughly 25, 20, and 20. Do you suppose that I was that far behind because of a "problem". The fact remains that over close to 5 HOURS of racing, our overall finishing times were within 0.16% of each other. How is it possible for you to contort that to mean that I'm a "mediocre driver"? I also turned the second fastest lap EVER on the course layout before its recent renovation. > > As always you only look at the data in a way that makes you look as good > as possible. Year or > two, or still instructing? I was invited to join the RDC in after the end of the 2016 season, before I even had a car that was competitive. So my tenure is from 2017 to date.

As much as you and I do not always get along you will not see me mocking you for it. -- It's impossible for someone who is at war with themselves to be at peace with you.

A fast lap is no indicator of your overall record. You cherry-pick numbers to make you look good while ignoring the bigger picture. Use of statistics to tell lies. Worst of all you are Donald Trump incarnate. Slam anybody who disagrees and hope it sticks. Fakerboy is the perfect moniker.

Use of statistics to tell lies. "Pot, Kettle..." applies. BTW, this morning is the last day to put in a bid for today's new issue 5 year TIPS auction; latest estimated 'real yield' is a shade over 2.5% -hh

That income is not in AGI at all. Yes, it is legal and publicly traded. I think I'll pass on the TIPS "opportunity". Even if it was in AGI it would still beat 2.5% tax-free. I also have a few hundred grand in a fund paying ~12% yield that is OI in AGI. It beats 2.5% too. Both funds NAV's are tracking well against the NASDAQ and S&P 500 index funds too. No, I am not going to tell you what they are.

I have one that's the same ... but unlike Treasuries, I understand that it has a different and meaningful principle loss risk. One that I don't have which has this erosion problem is MSTY. Its headline +25% yield looks great until we see that in the fine print its share price has dropped by -50% YTD: that's a "pay in $100, get just ($25+$50) = $75 back". > I think I'll pass on the TIPS "opportunity". Even if it was in > AGI it would still beat 2.5% tax-free. > I also have a few hundred grand in a fund paying ~12% yield that is OI > in AGI. It beats 2.5% too. Seems that you're overlooking that TIPS yield is above inflation. So if Inflation goes back up to ~9%, a +2.25% Real Yield TIPS means that the payout rate is ~11.25%. > Both funds NAV's are tracking well against the NASDAQ and S&P 500 > index funds too. Which is great so long as the NASDAQ or SP500 don't drop, of course... ...and meantime, the NASDAQ is -4% Month over Month, and the AI bubble hasn't even popped yet. > No, I am not going to tell you what they are. But of course you won't. Just like how you've deliberately cherry-picked this aside to try to distract and avoid the first part of my post, namely: "Except that by the reasonable person standard, whoever holds a track record would be considered to be an 'exceptional' driver...right?" -hh
