I am posting this as a direct reply to H Ebony 02-14-2010 12:28 PM, but mostly because I was wondering the exact same thing: At the re-start of my HP Pavilion (dv6626us) there is s list of F Keys which vanish from the screen BEFORE I can read them. To my surprise and as stated in one of the previous replays, the PAUSE key does in fact pause the startup so the F Key description CAN be read, but I thought I would explicitly give them here... Press <esc> to enable startup message, <F1> to enter System information, <F9> to change boot device order Press <F2> to startup check, <F10> to enter SETUP, <F11> to System Recovery I too found it odd that this description of the Startup F Key Selections could NOT be found in any of the HP Documentation or on the Internet.. Until now. Nedro H Ebony;1178948 Wrote: > It puzzles me what are the F Key listed at the start up of HP Pavilion > HDX9430EA laptop. > I cannot read them before they vanish from the screen.
