#1696 — My Screen Has The Shakes

Because of a bad job getting rid of a virus I had to wipe my system and reinstall Windows XP on my Dell D610 laptop. I thought everything was replaced and working but I begin to notice that my screen will sometimes scroll all over the place while I'm typing. I tried re-installing all of the current Dell drivrs but no joy in fixing this problem. Anyone have an idea what's going on; how to fix this?

Not clear what you mean by "all over the place".
Make sure your Windows screen resolution is set the same
as the native resolution of the LCD.

	Sounds like your screen resolution is set larger than the physical 
resolution and you're using virtual (screen) real estate that you need to
scroll into to see.

This sort of think can be caused by problems with the trackpad
settings - you accidently activate it while typing.
