How long should the CMOS battery (the [usually] coin shaped battery [usually] mounted on the mb) last? I am finding that my Toshiba Sattelite laptop loses the clock and CMOS settings if it is powered down and unplugged more than a few weeks. Battery replacement time? -- Rich Greenberg Sarasota, FL, USA richgr atsign panix.com + 1 941 378 2097 Eastern time. N6LRT I speak for myself & my dogs only.
