I had one for a SONY laptop, it was good. I think the price is ok.

Try having the battery rebuilt instead of getting a new one. I had my T430's done by a local shop (also did my older PowerBook Duo, natch) but anyone who does power tool battery-pack repair can probably do a laptop of that vintage. Thanks for the reply and suggestion. Unfortunately the laptop didn't come with the battery.
